Xiaomi India has released a teaser trailer. From the preview, it looks like a Xiaomi 10 series phone with a 108MP camera and will be released on January 5, 2021. Interestingly, last month Redmi launched the Redmi Note 9 series, followed by the Redmi 9 Power in Xiaomi India. Speculating the configuration, the Redmi 9 Power is a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 9 4G.

Xiaomi India started a warm-up on Twitter and also set up a page on its official website that mentions a 108-megapixel main camera, a high refresh rate screen, and the latest chipset, in this case, the Snapdragon 750G processor. The side of the device is also seen, revealing a SIM card tray on the left side and a curved back, which is consistent with the design of the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G.

Mi 10i has appeared on the GeekBench score site, and from the score, it is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor with 8GB RAM. The Xiaomi 10T-Lite and the Redmi Note 9 Pro in the China, both using the same SoC.

Although there is not much information about the Xiaomi 10i 5G, it should be similar to the Redmi Note 9 Pro; we can refer to the Redmi Note 9 Pro’s parameters. In terms of specifications, the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G features a 6.67-inch LCD punch-hole screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz, the first Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G, a 4820mAh battery, and support for 33W fast charging.

In terms of camera, Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G is equipped with a rear full-scene quad-camera: 108-megapixel Samsung 1/1.52-inch ISOCELL HM2, 8-megapixel super wide-angle, 2-megapixel macro, 2-megapixel depth of field, first Samsung HM2, with 1/1.52-inch outsole and support for 9-in-1 pixels.
