Honor V40 Series JD Mall Listing
In November 2019, Honor released the V30 and V30 Pro models with Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin 990 SoC and 6GB of memory to start with, the industry’s first full-series 5G dual-mode all-network pass phones.
After the divestiture of Honor from Huawei, it is both a new beginning and a new opportunity. Unlike the case of Huawei, Honor now has a very large number of possibilities, for example, in terms of chips Honor is rumored to have obtained a license to supply from Qualcomm, and in addition to Qualcomm, MediaTek and Samsung may have to follow suit.
So the situation at hand is that Qualcomm and MediaTek are working hard to get permission to supply chips to Honor, and if they do, that means it’s no longer Huawei HiSilicon Kirin, so maybe that’s a good thing? Just at that time, the fans of Honor will continue to support it.
The first model after the divestiture of the Honor brand, Honor V40 has hit Jingdong Mall, including V40 Pro and V40 Pro+ versions. The first model of the new Honor independent Honor V40 has also now officially passed the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology network audit and telecommunications record, etc., standard with Huawei HW-110600C0x charger, support up to 66W charge pump fast charging, the origin for Guangxi Guilin, running Android system, is expected to be released shortly.
The three models of Honor V40 are now on the shelves of Jingdong Mall, but no information has been announced and prices are just a placeholder. Weibo blogger Digital Chat Station previously revealed that the Huawei Kirin version of the Honor V40 Series was cut, leaving only the model with MediaTek’s Dimensity Series 5G chip.
