Although the Honor was divided from Huawei but does not affect the release of new machines, according to the law of iteration, Honor will soon update the V series product line, named Honor V40 series.

According to a well-known Weibo blogger, the first new machine after the independent Honor reorganization for the record, codename YORK, model YOK-AN10, name should be Honor V40. Sources further said, originally more than this model, divided into two versions of Kirin and MediaTek processor, corresponding to different models, but now the Kirin version cut, only MediaTek Dimensity version will surface.

If the news is legit, it means that the Honor of the V40 series equipped with MediaTek processors, the specific landing may be Dimensity 1000+, or previously exposed MediaTek new SoC 6893. However, since it has registered, I believe the public display is not far away, waiting for revelation.

The new SoC from MediaTek, which was exposed earlier by the AnTuTu benchmark, can’t be announced for the time being, and the CPU adopts a quad-core Cortex-A78 with a quad-core Cortex-A55 design, with a Mali-G77 GPU and an unknown number of cores.

The total score of this test machine is 622409 points, of which the CPU score is 175351, GPU score is 235175, MEM score is 123535, and UX score is 88348. Besides, considering the engineering machine, the current running score does not represent the final performance of the SoC, and there should be further improvements in the future.
