Realme Race Rendering
In the early morning of December 2nd, realme announced that the new Race flagship will be one of the first to be powered by the Snapdragon 888 chip, making realme one of the first companies to feature the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G mobile platform.
After the event, Xu Qi, realme’s vice president, president of China, and president of global marketing said on Weibo that the first flagship of the new realme series, codenamed “Race,” will be the first to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888. Recently, GsmArena has released a Realme Race rendering image of the back side along with some specifications. Rendering revealing the rear design of Realme Race, which will feature a rounded quad-camera lens, a striped flash on the right side, a 2.5D curved design, and a pure white body, which should be made of glass with a texture close to ceramic.
Besides, the model RMX2202 will be corresponding with Realme Race which is powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset, with 12GB of storage and 256GB of onboard storage, running Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11, and so on.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 is said to be based on the new Samsung 5nm process, incorporating a new 2.84GHz ARM Cortex-X1 mega-core, three 2.4GHz A78 mid-core and four 1.8GHz A55 mini-core; and a 35 percent performance boost from the Adreno 660 GPU. The Snapdragon 888 is also Qualcomm’s first integrated flagship 5G SoC, incorporating the Snapdragon X60 5G baseband.
