According to Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 888 is being launched with 14 brands: Asus, Black Shark, Lenovo, LG, Phantom, Motorola, Nubia, realme, one plus, OPPO, Sharp, Vivo, Xiaomi, and ZTE.

Xiaomi Mi 11

Qualcomm emphasized that Xiaomi Mi 11 will first debut Snapdragon 888 processor. Furthermore, it is confirmed by Lei Jun’s statement “In addition to industry-leading 5G connectivity, it brings breakthroughs and innovations in AI, gaming, and cameras. In addition to industry-leading 5G connectivity, it also brings breakthroughs and innovations in AI, gaming, and cameras. I’m excited that our new flagship Mi 11 will be one of the first new phones to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 SoC.”

Oppo Find X3

Some manufacturers are not willing to show their plans, Vivo, OPPO also expressed their position, of which OPPO is directly said the new generation of Find X series will follow up. Just OPPO official said, anyway, can not sleep, to break the news: the new generation of OPPO Find X series will be the first quarter of next year to meet with everyone.

This statement is certainly a confirmation of the new generation of Find X3 and X3 Pro. The phone will use Snapdragon 888 and will be released in Q1 of next year, which is much faster than this year’s Find X2 series.

Meanwhile, OPPO Vice President and President of Worldwide Sales Qiang Wu also confirmed this at the Qualcomm conference, saying that Qualcomm Technologies’ latest Snapdragon 888 5G mobile platform brings significant improvements to the 5G, imaging and AI experience. We confirmed, “OPPO will launch the first Snapdragon 888-powered flagship smartphones in the first quarter of 2021, which we are extremely excited about. We are confident that the next-generation Find X series will bring unparalleled new experiences to users around the world.”

According to previous reports, OPPO has tested a new dual main camera solution on an engineering machine, equipped with Sony’s custom IMX782 or IMX786 sensor (suspected), which will get higher pixels and a large bottom ultra-wide-angle.

In addition to the camera technology upgrade, OPPO officially unveiled its full-link color management system at the OPPO Future Technology Conference in November, which includes two core technologies: full-link 10bit and color management, and OPPO says the Find X3 series will be the first to carry the system. So far, OPPO’s new flagships in the Find X series are expected to offer significant jumps in 5G, imaging, AI, and gaming experience, in addition to upgrades to the Snapdragon 888 5G platform.

Vivo Flagship (Vivo X60 Pro+/Nex, unconfirmed)

Following the announcement of Xiaomi and Oppo, Vivo has announced that it will soon launch a Snapdragon 888-powered phone. Vivo said, “With the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, Vivo and iQOO’s flagship products will also bring consumers better image photography capabilities, a more powerful gaming experience, as well as high-speed and convenient 5G connectivity with more intelligent features.”

Vivo doesn’t say a specific model name. According to the Vivo products line-up, the upcoming Vivo X60 Pro+ has a high possibility of getting the Snapdragon 888 platform; in other options, the next generation Nex series is expected.

Realme Race

Realme is also one of the companies to launch the new flagship phones with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G. Realme CEO Bingzhong Li said that Qualcomm has been the most important partner for realme. Realme, one of the fastest-growing smartphone brands in the world, will launch its flagship 5G phone “Race” powered by the Snapdragon 888 5G mobile platform, and began development of a new flagship a few months ago that will bring users around the world a product experience that will exceed their expectations.

Nubia Red Magic 6

Nubia president Ni Fei also just made a statement, unveiling the first gaming phone with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 mobile platform, the Nubia Red Magic 6 series. He also claimed that the Snapdragon 888 and the Red Magic 6 are bursting with performance, possibly the most powerful on the planet.

The current Red Magic 5S is powered by the Snapdragon 865, but without the Snapdragon 865 Plus, which Red Magic officials say is as good as or better than the Snapdragon 865 Plus, there’s always some small regret. In the next generation, such regrets will no longer exist.

ZTE Axon 30 and Nubia Z30 Series

Yesterday, ZTE unveiled Blade 20 Pro 5G and Axon 20 Extreme Edition. At the same time, Ni Fei also talked about ZTE Axon 30, “The new generation of ZTE’s flagship Axon 30 will be equipped with the industry’s most powerful and pioneering imaging features next year.”

The current Axon 20 series based on Snapdragon 765G platform and the world’s first commercial phone with an under-screen front camera. After Qualcomm’s announcement, ZTE Mobile official Weibo sent a massage, “ZTE Axon 30 Flagship Series! Not only are the first Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, And you can’t imagine the first hard-core imaging technology.”

Confidence regarding performance is obvious, its Snapdragon 888 platform, but ZTE also emphasizing hard-core imaging technology, it is said self-developed. What kind of new imaging technology ZTE Axon 30 will bring? We have to wait and watch.

Not only that, Nubia Z series flagship also confirm to be equipped with Snapdragon 888 platform. The last model of the Nubia Z series was last year’s Z20, and it has been one and a half years since the launch of a new model. If naming pattern doesn’t change, successor series could me Nubia Z30.

We can expect from the next generation Asus Rog Phone, BlackShark Gaming phone, Lenovo Legion gaming phone 2 (confirmed), OnePlus 9/9Pro, and Meizu/Motorola/Sharp/LG future flagship.
