Oppo Reno 5 Specifications
Oppo Reno Series first introduced in March 2019, currently, the Reno4 series is well performance in the online-offline market. The newest generation of the Reno series is the Reno 5, and it’s interesting to note that the Reno 5 still uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G, which is the same processor as the Reno 3 Pro and Reno 4 series.
This year, the Reno 5 is once again carrying on with the Snapdragon 765G processor, is the Snapdragon 765G too powerful? According to the source, the Reno 5 features a 6.43-inch OLED display on the front, a front-facing lens presented in the form of a punch-hole, a 60hz refresh rate, and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz.
On the hardware side, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor clocked at 2.4GHz with a 7nm process and integrated Qualcomm’s third-generation 5G chip Snapdragon X52, which supports dual-mode 5G.
In terms of camera, Oppo Reno 5 expected to host a rear quad-camera design, respectively, 64 megapixels + 8 megapixels + 2 megapixels + 2 megapixel, and front 32 megapixels. The Reno 5 built-in a 4300mAh battery, support 65W Super Flash Charge, it is worth noting that the Reno5 battery is a dual-cell design.
Update: Oppo PEGT00 and PEGM00 appears on MIIT Certification Website
Oppo two new model PEGT00 and PEGM00 appeared on the MIIT certification website sharing similar specifications and designs. These two certificates on 2020/11/2, are expected to be Reno 5 series different versions.
According to MIIT, device measurements are 159.1×73.4×7.9(mm), weight 172g, 6.43 (inches) AMOLED display with 2400×1080 resolution, 2100mAh dual-cell battery, 2.4GHz SoC with 8GB/12GB RAM coupled with 128GB/256GB ROM, and running on Android 11.
In terms of appearance, the rear camera is positioned on the top left corner the same as the reno4 series, three vertically arranged, and one in the next line, fingerprint scanner not visible on back or side of the device, possibly arranged in-display.
