Apple iPhone 12 Series Introduction
Apple officially unveiled the iPhone 12 series models at its launch event on October 13. It’s the most powerful iPhone ever and the first generation to support 5G networks.

In terms of form factor, the iPhone 12 series returns to a similar design to the iPhone 4, with a right-angled frame design, the front still has a bangs screen, the back still has a square camera module, and all are OLED screens.
There are four models in the iPhone 12 family, the 5.4-inch iPhone 12 Mini, the 6.1-inch iPhone 12, the 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Pro, and the 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max. iPhone 12 Mini as well as iPhone The 12 frame is made of aluminum, while the iPhone 12 Pro series is upgraded to stainless steel.
In terms of color scheme, the iPhone 12 Mini as well as the iPhone 12 offers five color options – black, white, red, green, and blue; while the iPhone 12 Pro series offers four color options – silver, graphite, gold, and navy blue.

The 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Pro also has a screen resolution of 2532×1170 with a ppi of 460; the 6.7-inch version of the iPhone 12 Pro Max has a resolution of 2778×1284 with a ppi of 458; both screens have a typical brightness of 800nit with a maximum brightness of 1200nit and HDR support display, Original Color Display, and P3 Wide Color Gamut.
For photography, the iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12 feature dual rear cameras, including a 12-megapixel wide-angle (ƒ/1.6 7p lens + optical image stabilization) and a 12-megapixel super wide-angle (ƒ/2.4 5p lens) with support for Dolby Vision HDR video capture. The front camera is 12 megapixels (ƒ/2.2), and both the front and rear cameras support Night Mode photography.
The iPhone 12 Pro series features a rear triple camera + LIDAR scanner design with 12 megapixels at wide angle (ƒ/1.6 7p lens), telephoto (ƒ/2.0 iPhone 12 Pro Max is ƒ/2.2, 6p lens) and ultra-wide angle (ƒ/2.4, 5p lens). Both the wide-angle and telephoto lenses support optical image stabilization, and the iPhone 12 Pro Max comes with sensor-shifted optical image stabilization. The front camera is identical to the iPhone 12.
In terms of networking, the iPhone 12 series supports the Sub-6GHz band as well as the millimeter wave band, but the China version only supports the Sub-6GHz band 5G, and the US model additionally supports the millimeter wave band. In addition, it still supports 4×4 MIMO, 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and is equipped with an ultra-wideband chip for spatial awareness, and finally supports Beidou for positioning.
In terms of charging, the iPhone 12 series’ wired charging has been upgraded to 20W, and wireless charging has been upgraded to 15W, which can charge up to half the battery in half an hour. Also, the iPhone 12 series has added MagSafe functionality, which supports magnetic array, magnetic alignment, accessory recognition NFC, and magnetometer functionality.
iPhone 12 Series base version price in India is 69,900 INR for 12 mini; 79,900 for 12; INR 1,19,900 for 12 Pro and INR 1,29,900 12 Pro Max. The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro will be available for pre-order on October 16 and ship on October 23, while the iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max will be available for pre-order on November 6 and ship on November 13.
In addition, it should be noted that the iPhone 12 series canceled the included EarPods headphones, charging head, only a USB-C/Lightning data charging cable, the official reason is for environmental protection.
