The configuration, with this SoC with the mysterious new model number “ORION”, with 2376 × 1080 resolution screen, 8GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard internal memory, and running on Android 11. As for the running scores, Samsung Exynos 1080 AnTuTu Benchmark currently has a score of 693600, with a CPU score of 181099, GPU score of 297676, MEM score of 115169, and UX score of 99656.

This total score is already better than the most powerful Snapdragon 865 and 865 Plus yet, and even has a significant advantage over the GPU overclocked Snapdragon 865. According to AnTuTu, comparing the sub-scores, the CPU part is essentially the same as the Snapdragon 865, and the GPU has a clear advantage, meaning the Exynos 1080 has a very large GPU that’s at the flagship level.

Also, judging by the MEM scores, the new device is equipped with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 flash memory, giving it a clear advantage in terms of reading and write speeds. The UX score also means that the new phone comes with a screen with at least a 120Hz refresh rate.

As previously reported, the Samsung Exynos 1080 will use Samsung’s own state-of-the-art 5nm LPE process, which is two generations ahead of the 8nm process used in the previous Exynos 980. The Exynos 1080 will also use ARM’s latest Cortex-A78 and Cortex-A55 dual-cluster CPU architecture, and the integrated GPU has also been upgraded to ARM’s latest Mali-G78 which is 25% better performance.
