Vivo X50 Series successor today appeared in an offline store image of the Vivo X60 showing a billboard with the words “Professional Imaging Flagship” and the tagline “Professional Imaging Flagship,” suggesting that the phone will focus on imaging capabilities and support 5G networks. It is expected to be released sometime between November and December, as added by multiple digital bloggers.
There’s little to no information about the device, but most digital bloggers are speculating that it will feature a small perforated curved screen. Weibo blogger Digital Chat Station previously leaked that the new X-series phone from Vivo at the end of the year could have several domestic firsts in terms of technology, such as screen, lens, and chip. The source who revealed Vivo X60 billboard, also said that upcoming Vivo phones may be mass-produced 5-7.5x perimeter continuous optical zoom which is demonstrated on Vivo Apex 2020 concept phone.
Besides, some digital bloggers have suggested that Vivo may premiere Qualcomm’s new flagship SoC, the Snapdragon 875, but could not confirm this. It’s unlikely that the Vivo X60 will be equipped with a Snapdragon 875 chipset, as the new generation of Qualcomm’s flagship chipset will not be available in large quantities until the end of the year, and the Vivo X series is a product line known for its sales volume. It’s also worth noting that Digital Gossip Station has previously indicated that Vivo could be debuting a new 5nm chip.
Besides, Digital Chat Station also said that “Blue Factory’s (Vivo) new system (FuntouchOS 11) will soon be recruiting insiders, mainly for transition animation upgrades and high refresh rate global optimizations. The default round icons and some of the UI have been redrawn, and there’s a richer AOD hover display and more to look forward to.”
