Huawei Mate X2 Rendering
The U.S. paper ban, once the world’s largest smartphone maker Huawei, can only make every effort to minimize the negative impact of the mobile business, delayed until the latest. As the current point in time, the most important and occupy a large proportion of shipments of the Mate 40 series, Huawei must be the priority of the “protection” object. But when we discuss the Mate40, we should not forget Huawei Mate X2 foldable phone.
Following the Huawei Mate X2 report, recently the State Intellectual Property Office has published a patent for a folding screen phone filed by Huawei in August 2019, which is officially approved on September 25, 2020.

The patent image shows that the folding screen phone features an inward-folding design, equipped with both internal and external screens, not unlike the current Mate X series. The inner screen has a true full-screen design with no digging and no bangs, and it’s not clear if there is an under-screen camera.
The outer screen has a double perforated design and is very good in terms of screen-to-body ratio. Also, the most interesting aspect of the phone is the tilt design, with the side equipped with the outer screen being significantly thicker than the other side. For the camera part, the device offers a rectangular camera module that offers five rear cameras and the top one is supposed to be a periscopic telephoto lens.
Recently, Ben Geskin shared Huawei Mate X2 rendering based on the Huawei Mate X2 new phone’s appearance patent that was revealed by LetsGoDigitaol. Rendering gives a more informative glimpse of the device, that how it may look.

No further information has been revealed about the device for now. For well-known reasons, the phone may not be releasing this year, and those who want to buy it will have to wait until next year.
