Google Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G
Google will launch the new Pixel series on September 30 at 11 am PT (11:30 pm in India). The launch is expected to feature both the Google Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G. Today the media has revealed the details and appearance of the Google Pixel 4a 5G and Google Pixel 5. Both are powered by Snapdragon 765G processors.
Apart from that, the Google Pixel 4a 5G comes with only 6GB of RAM, a 6.2-inch OLED punch-hole screen, 128GB of storage, 8MP front, 12.2-megapixel primary + 16-megapixel super wide-angle dual-camera on the rear, and a 3885mAh battery. In comparison, the Google Pixel 5 features a 90Hz OLED punch-hole screen with 8GB of RAM, offers 128GB of storage and boosts battery capacity to 4080mAh.
It’s worth noting that the Google Pixel 4a 5G body is plastic, while the Pixel 5a has a metal center frame + glass back cover. In summary, while both are Snapdragon 765G chips, the Google Pixel 4a 5G is significantly different from the Google Pixel 5 in terms of materials, screen, and various configurations. However, both come pre-installed with the new Android 11, which will be one of the first phones in the industry to come pre-installed with Android 11.
From leaked official renders of Google’s Pixel 4A 5G and Google Pixel 5, the images confirm Pixel 4a carrying a 3.5 headphone jack while Pixel 5 missing the same. WinFuture is also confirmed the same as above. The renders show that the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G, like the Pixel 4a, has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Accordingly to WinFuture’s suggestions about pricing, in Germany, the Google Pixel 5 price starts from 629 euros and Google Pixel 4a 5G price is 499 euros. These prices may be vary depending on different countries’ different tax policies. However, Evan Blass also suggested that Google Pixel 5 Price for the Canadian market could be 799.99 CAD.
