Huawei Mate 40 Series Release Time

It’s mid-September and Huawei is still tight-lipped about when the new Mate 40 Series will be released, with industry rumors suggesting it won’t be until late September or early October. Huawei Consumer Business CEO Yu Chengdong recently revealed the latest news about the release date of the new flagship Huawei Mate 40 series in a personal journal video from the HDC 2020 conference: please wait a little longer, everything will be on schedule.

Based on the release date previously hinted at by Yu Chengdong, the device will, unsurprisingly, be available to everyone in early October. A few days ago, Huawei Mobile UK officials Twitter began previewing the Mate series, saying, “We bring you the exciting news that the next generation Huawei Mate series will be launched soon, so stay tuned.”

According to media speculation, this news confirms that Huawei will launch the new Mate series overseas, and has not abandoned the European market. Previously, the news revealed that the new Huawei device with model number NOH-NX9, identified as the Mate 40 Pro, has been certified by Bluetooth 5.1 and the EEC.

According to the current leak, the Mate 40 Pro features a front-facing dual-aperture waterfall screen with a curvature close to that of the Mate 30 Pro, retains the solid keys on the side, and still has circular camera module on the back with a periscope zoom lens and 66W wired fast charging support.

It’s also worth mentioning that the Mate 40 series is expected to debut with different processors, including the standard version of the Kirin 9000E and the Pro version of the Kirin 9000, the latter of which is built on a 5nm process and is the industry’s 5G-enabled 5nm SoC.

The new Huawei Mate40 series flagship is expected to debut as early as the end of this month and will go on sale in October, including the Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, and Mate 40 Pro+. The new models will be excellent in terms of looks, processor, and photography.
