In Apple Event was held on 15th September, Tim Cook announced the release of products that have a new generation of Apple Watch Series 6, Apple Watch SE, iPad, and iPad Air.
First, to be unveiled was the Apple Watch Series 6, which continues the classic ID design and will be available in Product (RED), blue, pink, and new gold color. Apple also announced a new band called the “Solo Loop,” which is made from a single piece of silicone without any clasp, is retractable and slides up and down, the band is durable and water-resistant, and is available in several styles and seven different colors. There’s also the Solo Loop, made of woven yarn, available in five colors. Finally, Apple is also introducing a new leather-linked strap.

WatchOS 7 brings sleep tracking and will soon provide users with warnings about low VO2 Max levels. The new Apple Watch Series 6 will feature a new blood oxygen monitoring sensor that can take a blood oxygen level in less than 15 seconds. Apple says it’s working with health networks to begin large-scale studies using the new blood oxygen measurement feature, including detecting if a person is infected with COVID-19.
The Apple Watch Series 6 comes with the S6 chip, which is based on the A13 chip and is 20 percent faster than its predecessor. It’s based on Apple’s in-house A13 chip and brings the first major update to Apple Watch performance since the Series 4, as last year’s Series 5 models used the same S4 CPU rebranded as S5 and with other additional features.
The Apple Watch Series 6 retains the always-on design of the previous generation, while the outdoor display is 2.5x brighter. The Apple Watch Series 6 also offers an altimeter function that allows you to see changes in elevation in real-time.
The Apple Watch Series 6 also includes a variety of new dials, such as a GMT dial, a positive chronograph dial, a chronograph pro dial, an anamorphic dial, an art dial-in collaboration with an artist, and more.
Apple introduced the Family Share Settings feature for the Apple Watch Series 6, specifically for users who don’t have an iPhone, mainly children and seniors. Users can check the status of their family members through settings, such as controlling their children’s study time and specifying who they call. This feature requires Series 4 and later devices. Apple said that to reduce carbon emissions, the new Apple Watch packaging will eliminate the adapter USB power adapter. Apple Watch Series 6 price starts at USD 399.
After introducing the Apple Watch Series 6, the Apple Watch SE debuted, combining the features of the Series 6 with the body of the Series 4, plus a new band with an S5 chip, priced from USD 279.

Apple Watch SE is available in Wi-Fi and cellular versions, divided into 40mm and 44mm GPS versions. The Apple Watch SE has the same accelerometer, gyroscope, and altimeter as the Series 6, with support for fall detection and oximetry.
Compared to the Series 6, the Apple Watch SE lacks electrocardiogram monitoring (ECG), doesn’t have an always-on display, comes with an S5 chip instead of an S6, and is $120 cheaper.
As per the official details released by Apple, the Apple One service amounts to a consolidation of all Apple’s services, sold in a package to users. These services include iCloud, Apple Music, Apple TV+, and the newly launched Apple Fitness+.
Apple is offering several packages for personal, family, and premiere for $14.95, $19.95, and $29.95, respectively. Users can purchase them as they see fit.
In particular, Apple took the time today to introduce the Apple Fitness+ service for the Apple Watch, using this to see metrics on the wrist during a workout, with sensors showing heart rate, calories, pace, and distance. This data helps users stay motivated. And Fitness+ can select a workout from the video catalog on the iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV, launch the right video in the Apple Watch workout app and send the metrics to the screen where the user is viewing the workout, achieving real-time synchronization.
Besides, at the end of the workout, Fitness+ will give a full summary. Apple believes that Fitness+ will take exercise to the next level through convenience, expert guidance, and inspiration. Fitness+ is said to be a paid service, priced at $9.99 per month, and $79.99 per year. Also, the service is free for three months with the purchase of an Apple Watch.
