No iPhone at September 15th Apple Event

It was revealed that Apple is having three launches: iPad Air 4/Apple Watch 6 in September, iPhone 12/Pro in October, ARM MacBook in November. Apple’s fall launch will be held on September 15 at 10 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time in the United States, Apple issued an invitation stating: the time has come again. According to multiple sources, Apple’s September fall event could be an iPad Air 4, Apple Watch Series 6 special.

No iPhone at September 15th Apple Event

According to Mark Gurman, who broke the story, Apple could do more online launches than usual in light of the Covid-19 outbreak that banned travel, since it’s essentially just splitting the presentation launch video. Perhaps we’ll see Apple have three launches: in September (Watch/iPad), October (iPhone), and November (Mac).

The September launch, specifically, will be the iPad Air 4 and the new Apple Watch Series 6. In the September 15 Apple conference, Youtube live page appeared in the “iPad Air” and “Series 6” keywords.

In October, Apple will release the iPhone 12/Pro series, and Apple is expected to release four new iPhone 12 models this year with 5G and OLED displays. iPhone 12 series will be available in 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch screen sizes, while iPhone 12 Pro series will be available in 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch screen sizes.

While new iPhones usually begin shipping in late September, Apple said in August that this year’s iPhones would be available “a few weeks later. The iPhone 12 series production is expected to reach 80 million units this year, using the 5nm A14 chip.

In November, Apple will likely be the time to release its ARM MacBook. The new product will be equipped with a macOS Big Sur system, using a self-developed ARM chip. The whistleblower claims that the 12-inch MacBook with the 5nm A14X will turn into a powerful portable laptop. It is also said that the ARM MacBook is not an “A” series chip.

All three launches are very interesting, with the new iPad Air rumored to do away with the Touch ID design in favor of a high screen-to-body design language similar to the iPad Pro. The Mac series, on the other hand, is supposed to introduce Apple’s ARM processors, which means another relatively big change in Apple’s application ecosystem.
