This afternoon, we spotted a new Huawei device with the model number Huawei LIO-AN00 on the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s (MIIT) website, and the documentary photos are shared along with some specs. The appearance and configuration of the machine are very similar to the Huawei Mate30 Pro, or it could be the Huawei Mate 40 Lite.

The documentary photo shows that the device is almost identical to the announced Huawei Mate 30 Pro, with a waterfall screen on the front, the removal of the physical volume keys on the side, and a circular camera layout on the back.

But from the MIIT configuration, the rear main camera is 32 megapixels, while the Huawei Mate 30 Pro is 40 megapixels main camera, while the front camera is also changed from 32 megapixels to 16 megapixels. In terms of dimensions, it measures 158.1 x 73.1 x 8.8mm in three dimensions, weighs 198g, and features a 6.53-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 1176 x 2400.

On the core configuration, the new machine is equipped with a frequency of 2.86GHz processor (Kirin 990 5G?), providing 6/8/12GB RAM + 128/256/512GB ROM, battery capacity of 4400mAh, support for infrared. It’s the only thing that’s been reduced in terms of the camera, and the positioning is still unclear, pending an official announcement.
