iPhone 12 Pro Max Hands-on video
There’s little doubt that the iPhone 12 series is the world’s most talked-about new phone for the rest of the year. Now, Jon Prosser was the first to reveal the suspected iPhone 12 Pro Max hands-on video.
The so-called PVT that is mass production verification machine, is the last test prototype before mass production, mainly for functional verification definition, theoretical shape and mass production machine no difference, PVT prototype total output of about 1000 to 20,000 units.
From the brief hands-on video, the test options at PVT include not only LiDAR (LiDAR scanner) but also a high refresh rate of 120Hz. This proves that the iPhone 12 Pro Max is very much expected to continue the above configuration when it is mass-produced, which means an upgrade to a nominal quad-camera on the back, and a smoother application swipe and control experience in iOS 14.
The video was shot in a dark room, so the full-frontal look isn’t clear. However, Jon Prosser goes on to reveal that the bezels on the iPhone 12 Pro Max are noticeably narrower, and while the bangs are the same size as on the iPhone 11 Pro Max, the larger 6.7-inch screen allows for more program elements to reside in the status bar on either side of the bangs, such as the “AM” in time.”With the “PM” display, etc., there’s no need to slide down to see the power percentage visually.
The hands-on video of the iPhone 12 Pro Max test unit (with a protective case), showing the camera settings page, and according to Prosser, the bezels are a bit narrower on the new unit, but the size of the bangs is pretty much unchanged from the current model, though it’s a bit of a surprise due to the screen getting larger, the bangs appear visually smaller. Also, the new phone has a squared-off body similar to the iPhone 4, which is in line with previous leaks.
Jon Prosser also claims that Face ID is not only faster and more accurate but also recognizable at a larger angle and the phone can be unlocked when it’s flat on the table. The edges of the phone’s screen are flat, but the screen glass is slightly curved. The camera module is 10 percent larger than its predecessor, and it’s also slightly lighter than the iPhone 11 Pro Max due to a smaller battery.
