Chrome 85 Update
Google has released Chrome 85 today, and there are quite a few new changes, the highlight of which is the dramatically improved page load speed. Google says that Chrome has made backend performance improvements that have resulted in a 10% increase in tab loading speed.

The Chrome 85 update, which improves page load times by 10%, introduces many tab improvements, and offers several developer features. The update is available directly from Chrome’s built-in updater or can be downloaded from the Chrome website.
Improved Page Load Speed
Chrome 85 brings Profile Guided Optimization (PGO), a compiler optimization technique that makes the most performance-critical parts of the code run faster. PGO is used in real-world scenarios that match Chrome users’ workflows, so the most common tasks are prioritized and It’s faster. It’s available for Mac and Windows.
Tests show that Chrome pages load on average 10% faster after the introduction of PGO, and even faster when the CPU is running many tabs or programs at once.
Tab Management
Grouping and Collapsing Tags
Tab groups can help visually distinguish between topic or task tabs, or even tab priorities. Tab groups can be collapsed and expanded to make it easier to see which tabs you need to access.
