Display screen research firm DSCC president Ross Young on Twitter broke the news that the Huawei Mate 40 display is 3D curved 6.5-inch with 2340p × 1080p resolution, 90Hz, and will begin production this month.

Besides, Ross Young also stated. Huawei Mate 40 Pro display is 3.5D (likely waterfall) 6.78-inch in size which uses 1440p resolution and 90Hz refresh rate, will be officially launched in Mainland China in October, and in September in Korea.

In addition, Ross Young also said that display for Mate 40 is supplied by BOE and Mate 40 Pro display supplied by multiple manufacturers like BOE / SDC / LGD. Further, he also stated that Huawei Mate X2 foldable-screen phone will feature a 120Hz refresh rate screen with a size of 8.03-inch and 2480p × 2220p resolution.
