Sony Xperia 1 Mark 2 with 12GB RAM
4K screen, Snapdragon 865, non-shaped screen; there is the only phone that combines such elements and that is the Sony Xperia 1 II. Following its February launch and June/July availability, Sony Japan has announced the new Xperia 1 Mark 2, model number XQ-AT42.

According to the official news from Sony, Japan, this is an unlocked version of the Xperia 1 II, which will have improved specifications compared to the international version. The two main upgrades to this model compared to the current international version are: First, the running memory (RAM) has been adjusted from 8GB to 12GB, making it the first Sony phone with 12GB RAM. Second is the addition of a Frost black color, which reduces fingerprint smudging compared to the current glossy black color.


Other features remain unchanged, including a 4K HDR OLED display, 256GB storage, 8MP front, 12MP wide-angle + 12MP super wide-angle + 12MP telephoto triple camera on the rear, a 4000mAh battery, retention of the 3.5mm headphone jack, and side fingerprint recognition.
The XQ-AT42 is scheduled to be the first to go on sale in Japan on October 30 with a starting price of 124,000 yen ($1,171/₹87,900), according to the official.
