August 20, Sony has just unveiled a PlayStation 5 global promo video, which showcases immersive features including 3D sound and DualSense wireless controllers.

Sony says that in the first PS5 console global digital ad, you’ll witness the new console’s features leap out at you from the eyes and movements of a young woman. From the beginning, you walk on a vast frozen lake and feel the ice crack beneath your feet. When the character senses danger, the icy surface of the lake instantly reveals the sea monster Kraken, a dramatic display of tactile feedback sensing from the PS5 console’s DualSense wireless controller.
Sounds are then heard from all directions, and the protagonist responds to each sound he hears: from the front, side, top, and back, demonstrating the power of the PS5 console’s Tempest 3D sound technology. For the finale of the ad, when the protagonist pulls the arrow from her hand, the player can also feel the tension of her bowstring, thanks to the DualSense wireless controller’s adaptive trigger.
The ad revolves around the gaming experience, including more immersion, more realistic graphics, and 3D sound, without revealing any other unknown details. However, it all proves that Sony is ready to go, and it is widely speculated that the PS5 price and pre-order information will be announced soon.

The Sony PS5 comes with an 825GB SSD, a built-in NVMe slot, support for external HDD, and an optical drive with 4K Blu-ray.
In terms of games, the first-party games that have been announced include GT Racing 7, The Amazing Spider-Man, Demon’s Souls, Horizon: Forbidden West, Ricky, and Tinker Bell, The Hemp Boy Adventures, Doom All-Stars, and the new sci-fi shooter Returnal, as well as the unannounced Silent Hill.
