5G BlackBerry Phone Coming
It’s been a long time since we’ve heard from BlackBerry, but they still broke the big news – not only is BlackBerry not dead, but they’re also releasing a 5G BlackBerry Phone in 2021, with the return of the iconic physical keyboard.

Onward Mobility announced today that it has entered into a partnership agreement with BlackBerry and Foxconn’s FIH Mobile to launch a BlackBerry 5G phone with a physical keyboard in the first half of 2021, focusing on the European and North American markets.
In February this year, BlackBerry Mobile officially tweeted that since August 31, 2020, the brand authorized TCL communications will no longer sell BlackBerry brand mobile device and TCL and BlackBerry are no longer linked.
Now startup brand Onward Mobility will become the fourth generation of the BlackBerry brand licensee and announced that “BlackBerry” is launching a new 5G smartphone in 2021. BlackBerry has licensed the rights to develop, design, and market the 5G BlackBerry to OnwardMobility, while FIH Mobile is apparently in charge of OEM manufacturing.
In addition to the return of the iconic physical keyboard, the main focus of the BlackBerry 5G phones is security, with the increase in efficiency without sacrificing the user experience with secure 5G devices, and BlackBerry has long is known for protecting communications, privacy and data security.
