Redmi earlier officially launched the K30 Ultra, which looks very similar to the K30 Pro. However, a set of comparative Redmi K30 Ultra teardown have unveiled the internal differences between the two phones.

Redesigned screen

The K30 Ultra has a top-of-the-line custom-made AMOLED screen made of E3 material, which is brighter and more energy-efficient, with a peak brightness of 1200nit, 5,000,000:1 ultra-high contrast ratio, 100% coverage of P3 color gamut, and support for HDR10+ display for vivid images.

Compared to the K30 Pro, the K30 Ultra screen has a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate, while the supporting touch IC and display IC have been redesigned and stacked.

Redesigned AV

According to the official description, the K30 Ultra features an ultra-linear 2-in-1 speaker at the top and an ultra-linear speaker at the bottom, which together forms a stereo dual-speaker.

Redesigned motherboard

The K30 Ultra is equipped by the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ 5G flagship platform, and its related power management and RF chips have been redesigned and re-arranged.
