Chrome for Android Download Later Feature
According to a report from Techdows, Google is adding a “download later” feature to Chrome for Android.

The feature will reportedly reduce the need to rely on a separate Download Manager app to schedule later downloads of files. It appears that Google Chrome will offer an option for users to download files at a specific date and time, which is in the download dialog box that appears when the settings are set to start downloading.
Currently, Google Chrome only offers a few download-related options. You can choose the location of the file and whether or not it will download over Wi-Fi, and that’s it.
On the latest Chrome Canary, you can enable an experimental flag “Enable Download Later”, present at chrome://flags. allows the user to choose when to download the file, such as when connected to Wi-Fi, download when the network is available, or download at a specified time and date.

There’s also a handy button to save your preferences, and the downloads page within Chrome will also show a “Scheduled for later” tab that lets you manage pending downloads. There’s no word yet on when or if this feature will go into a stable version.
