According to the official statement, the 125W super flash charge not only charges the mobile phone with an equivalent 4000mAh battery energy to 41% in 5 minutes, it is fully charged in 20 minutes, but also strictly controls the temperature under 40℃ when the screen is off and charging so that the flash charge is always Keep it efficient and safe without getting hot.

At the same time, the adapter is updated to Type-C interface output, which is fully compatible with SuperVOOC and VOOC protocols. It supports 125W PPS, 65W PD, 36W QC, and other industry general fast charging protocols. It is the most advanced fast charging technology in the industry.
On the battery side, the 125W super flash charge upgrades the 3C cell to 6C cell, and the middle of the ear (MMT) is upgraded to the multi-pole (MTW) technology, which shortens the path of charge movement by a factor of two and further reduces the impedance of the cell which allows input of high current up to 12.5A.

At the input end, the 125W super flash charge uses a parallel three charge pump scheme with a conversion efficiency of 98%. The 20V 6.25A output by the adapter is converted into 10V 12.5A by the three charge pump step-down and enters the battery. Each charge pump only needs to convert 20V 2.1 The power of A is about 42W, which effectively avoids the overload and overheat of the charge pump caused by the large current.

The temperature of 125W super flash charging and extinguishing screen is strictly controlled below 40℃ during standby charging. It inherits the technical framework of VOOC. Based on the original 4 temperature sensors, the 125W super flash charger has added 10 temperature sensors, which are distributed in the battery lugs, the battery board BTB, and the USB interface. Any temperature abnormality can be fed back to the mobile phone and adapter immediately.
Based on the five-fold security protection of the VOOC technology platform, the data line also imports E-marker encryption, plus OPPO’s unique 128-bit encryption algorithm, which guarantees the safety of charging in all directions.
The OPPO official just released the 125W super flash charging measurement video. The video shows that it is fully charged in 20 minutes at the fastest and the temperature of the mobile phone does not exceed 40 degrees celsius.
Oppo 65W AirVOOC wireless flash charging
The OPPO official said that 65W AirVOOC can fill a mobile phone with an equivalent 4000 mAh battery energy in 30 minutes. By matching the fastest wired 65W flash charging speed of commercial use, it will bring a more fragmented and non-inductive charging experience.
