Yesterday evening, OnePlus released three new TV products in its Indian market. The specific models are OnePlus 55U1, 43Y1, and 32Y1, and the corresponding screen sizes are 55 inches, 43 inches, and 32 inches, respectively.
One Plus has launched this new, more affordable U series and Y in India series Android TVs. These three models include a 55-inch 4K model, a 43-inch Full HD model, and a 32-inch HD model. The TVs run on Android TV Pie with a customizable content recommendation interface called as OxygenPlay.
OnePlus 55U1 TV: 55 inch 4K
Of the three OnePlus TV models, the 55-inch flagship model in the U series is more popular than the other two, featuring an ultra-sleek The metal chassis and aluminum frame. A thicker module on the back, carrying the motherboard, speaker assembly, and ports, is covered with a layer of textured carbon fiber material that makes the look of the device is very premium. One Plus also uses a removable cover to cover the ports for a cleaner design.
In terms of the display, the 55-inch LED (presumably LED-backlit LCD) panel has a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels. In terms of color accuracy, the TV is claimed to support 93% DCI-P3 color gamut, and besides, the One Plus TV U Series 55″ 4K models also support HDR, including Dolby Vision, HDR10/10 + and HLG. one plus calls the entire package a “cinematic display”.
The OnePlus TV 55U1 has a dedicated Gamma Engine that recognizes different scenes and faces by Use dynamic gamma curves to optimize colors. Also, the Gamma Engine enables motion estimation, motion compensation for frame rate enhancement (MEMC), and Anti-aliasing for smoothing out sharp creases.
Inside the OnePlus 55U1, is a quad-core MediaTek MT5887 chipset with four Cortex. The A53 core is complemented by 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
On the audio front, the One Plus 55U1 comes with 30W speakers, including two full-range speakers and two tweeters. Speakers, also with Dolby Atmos support for enhanced sound quality, which can be rotated 90º.
The OnePlus TV 55U1 also comes with smart remote control, with dedicated Netflix and Amazon Prime video Button.
OnePlus TV Y-Series 43-inch Full HD and 32-inch HD
The more affordable One Plus TV Y series is available in two models: the 43-inch Full HD model and the 32-inch HD model. ready (1366×768) model, both TVs also support the same color accuracy and Gamma Engine optimized for improved color as well as dynamic contrast, anti-aliasing, and noise reduction, but lacks more advanced motion EMC function.
The OnePlus TV 43Y1 and 32Y1 come with a 20W speaker configuration and support for Dolby Audio. Compared to the flagship models of the U-series, these TVs have relatively thicker bezels and are designed with affordability in mind, complemented by 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage.
The new TV also supports Oxygen Connect, which can be used with Android or iOS devices to control your TV, connect up to 5 devices via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, and control your TV without a remote.
