Android 11 Beta New Features
Google this morning officially pushed out the Android 11 Beta 1, and the corresponding online release event was held at the same time and announced Android 11 Beta New Features.
It’s the most important change in Android 11 Beta 1, the “bubbles”. Users will be able to pop up conversations and get one-click access to open full conversations with any action they’ve done before. Google recommends that developers adopt the Bubbles API for Android 11. features include consolidated keyboard suggestions, optimized voice access, and more.
Android 11 Beta 1 simplifies the control of all smart home devices and Bluetooth accessories. Among others, Google Home has supported new APIs that allow any app to appear in the grid. For example, users can tap to turn lights on/off or drag the slider to adjust the brightness; “Play Now” and “Quick Settings”. “Integrated, the Media Control allows users to switch the output item for playing audio/video to headphones, speakers, or TVs. Users can enable this feature in Beta 1 via Developer Options > Media Recovery.
Users can restrict the app’s access to the device’s microphone, camera, and location. Also, if you haven’t used the app for a long time, the permissions will be reset automatically. the Play Store will review all requests for background Location-accessed Android apps.
