Sony ZV-1 Unboxing
Today we open the box for you a small new camera, is the Vlog camera ZV-1 just released by Sony last week, as the new favorite of Vlog shooting, this time I will give you a simple out-of-the-box introduction.

The ZV-1 is a single-frame version of the ZV-1 that was unboxed today.

In addition to the ZV-1 mainframe, NP-BX1 battery, data cable, manual, and warranty card, there is an additional microphone windshield over the common BlackBerry RX100 series cameras.

The Sony ZV-1 comes with a windshield accessory that mounts on the MI multi-functional hot shoe connector to reduce wind noise, allowing you to shoot outdoors without the wind noise and achieve higher sound quality.

Looking down at the top of the camera, you’ll see that both the design and functionality of the camera have been optimized for video shooting performance, with the shooting mode dial removed from the top of the body in favor of the shooting mode button. The trigger button for the video function has also been moved to the top of the body, right next to the shutter button (red circle).
Gone are the original pop-up electronic viewfinders and flash on top, replaced by the MI multifunction hot shoe connector and the newly developed Directional 3 Capsule Microphone, which is designed for forwarding radio, especially in selfie mode, to capture the sound of the subject while reducing background noise to a lower level.

The picture below shows the layout of the keys at the top of the fuselage.

The lens uses a Zeiss 24-70mm zoom lens (equivalent to 35mm camera angle) with a maximum aperture of F1.8 at the wide-angle end, providing excellent low light shooting performance and background bokeh during Vlog video shooting.

The addition of the MI multi-functional hot shoe connector at the top of the body makes it compatible with not only external flash but also a wide range of original radio accessories.

Without the need for an external microphone, the included microphone windshield can be used to improve the quality of the radio, which is mounted on the MI multifunctional hot shoe connector. (Figure below)

The side-to-side reversal of the screen reduces the interference of the top of the body accessories during the selfie, such as the addition of external microphones, windshields, and other accessories.

The Exmor RS on top of the inverted screen illustrates that the sensor is stacked and also performs well in slow motion video, with up to 40x slow-motion video shooting in HFR mode.

The camera features a screen-linked power supply, which can be turned on while the screen is uncovered, helping users to quickly power up the camera for shooting.

The Sony ZV-1 body adds an easy-to-hold, comfortable grip to reduce grip fatigue during Vlog shots and selfies.

The Sony Vlog Camera ZV-1 also has a Wireless Bluetooth Grip Kit that includes the GP-VPT2BT Wireless Bluetooth Multi-Functional Shooting Grip and an additional NP-BX1 battery. The handle is easy to hold for selfies and can also be used as a tabletop tripod if necessary.

The Sony Vlog camera ZV-1 is a great grip to hold, whether it’s for Vlog short video shooting or still image creation, it will be a great companion for you.
