In the announcement, Sony said, “While we understand gamers worldwide are excited to see PS5 games, we do not feel that right now is a time for celebration, and for now, we want to stand back and allow more important voices to be heard..”.

However, Sony did not indicate how long the launch would be postponed, in other words, the PS5 launch was postponed indefinitely, the exact time will have to wait for Sony to inform. The postponement of the launch was due to the impact of protests against racial discrimination-related protests from the United States.

Of course, the PS5 won’t disappoint, after Sony CEO Kenichiro Yoshida said that the company will invest heavily in developing PS5 first-party games to bring players an immersive, seamless gaming experience like no other. Meanwhile, Yoshida points out that the PS5 is far better than the PS4 in terms of floating-point performance. Combined with an advanced SSD drive, PS5-based games can be played 100 times faster than previous generation consoles.

Jim Ryan, president, and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) said in an interview that the PS5 doesn’t hit low prices, but it’s good value for money.
