Today, Qualcomm announced the new SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G, powered by the Qualcomm Kryo 475 CPU + sensor hub + X52 5G modem/RF system, supporting millimeter wave and sub-6GHz bands. Now, Qualcomm’s official website has announced the details of this SoC, take a look together.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G Features

According to the official website, the CPU section of the Kryo 475 can reach 2.8GHz, a 15 percent increase over the Snapdragon 765G, and the GPU section of the Adreno 620 is also a 15 percent increase over the Snapdragon 765G.

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 768G supports 120Hz screen, some Snapdragon Elite Gaming features, GPU driver upgrades; network support for millimeter wave and sub-6GHz bands; Qualcomm 5G PowerSave technology for all-day range; and Wi-Fi 6 support.

Snapdragon Elite Gaming features including: 

In terms of camera support, the Snapdragon 768G supports shooting over 1 billion colors and 4K HDR video recording; 192 MP for single shot and HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, HEVC video formats.

For video decoding, the Snapdragon 768G supports H.265 (HEVC), H.264 (AVC), VP8, VP9, with on-screen display support for QHD+ @ 60 Hz , FHD+ @ 120 Hz. For memory, the Snapdragon 768G supports 2133MHz.

In meantime, Redmi also launched Redmi K30 Extreme Edition with Snapdragon 768G 5G SoC and become first phone to use this brand new SoC.
