Galaxy BudsX Features
After the successful launch of the Galaxy Buds+, Samsung is gearing up for its next headset. After filing patents in the EU and the UK, the upcoming Galaxy BudsX has entered the trademark application process on United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
According to SamMobile, despite initially drawing attention for its unique “bean-like” shape, the headset has the potential to be marketed as a fitness headset.

As shown above, the trademark application contains the words “MP3 player and wearable wireless headset sold as a unit”. This may mean that we can expect Galaxy BudsX to support separate audio playback and built-in storage to save your favorite songs, audiobooks or podcasts. In addition Galaxy Buds X may Support auto on/off music playback and sensors for determining headset is worn or not.

This feature would be very useful for runners or cyclists who don’t want to hold their phone with them all the time. We’ve known before that this headset may have software built in to track position and exercise statistics (such as distance and calories), so they can be a true all-in-one fitness companion. Of course, you’ll still need to use your phone to answer calls, but at least it will reduce the need to rely on the phone for data connectivity.
Samsung’s Galaxy Buds+ has garnered a lot of praise, and it’s clear that the South Korean tech giant is trying to make a name for itself in the face of stiff competition from the likes of Apple, Google and others.
