Nubia Red Magic 5G Introduction
Today, the Nubia held an online press conference to launch the Nubia Red Magic 5G gaming phone, a Gaming mobile phones, all with standard 144Hz super competitive screen, 300Hz touch shoulder keys, equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, built-in high performance centrifugal fan, 55W air-cooled turbo fast charge, LPDDR5 + WI-FI 6 + UFS3.0, Sony 64MP IMX686 camera, ICE 3.0 stereo multi-dimensional cooling system and more.
The biggest highlight of the Red Magic 5G is that it is equipped with a screen with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, and it is also the first 16GB memory mobile phone made in China, and the first 16GB memory gaming mobile phone.
In terms of appearance, the new machine continues the Red Magic’s family design style, and does not deliberately pursue the screen ratio, and has achieved a good balance in terms of screen ratio and anti-false touch. In terms of colour matching, Cyber Neon, Hack Black, and Mars Red are available, as well as a transparent version of Deuterium.

According to the official, the Red Magic 5G uses a single-cell battery solution with lower losses and longer life. 55W charger is compatible with QC4.0 and PD3.0 in addition to supporting PPS.
Red Magic 5G Cooling System
In terms of heat dissipation, Red Magic 5G still continues the design of air-cooled + liquid-cooled active cooling system, but upgraded to ICE3.0 three-dimensional multi-dimensional cooling system.
It has a built-in high-efficiency centrifugal fan with a speed of up to 15,000 rpm. It has a stronger north-south ventilation channel design, which increases the ventilation volume by 30% and the cooling area by 56%. Nano-scale materials, thermal conductivity increased by 100%.
In terms of liquid cooling, it has a built-in large L-shaped liquid cooling tube, high thermal conductivity copper foil, thermal conductive gel, multi-layer thermal graphite, and 10 temperature sensors. It can intelligently sense the temperature and dynamically adjust the cooling strategy to ensure continuous high performance output.
Red Magic 5G Gaming Specific Features
In terms of special features, the Red Magic 5G has designed seven DOCK points on the side. With the Red Magic 5G Gaming Magic Box, it can simultaneously support three functions: charging, voice, and direct network cable connection.
For game operation, the Red Magic 5G also designed a 300Hz side dual pressure touch button and a 2-stage toggle switch, which can enter the game mode with one click. Colourful lights are provided on the back, and the light band effect editing can be realized through the system.
In terms of sound quality, the Red Magic 5G is equipped with a set of dual ultra-linear speakers. After a series of sound algorithm adjustments, it achieves DTS X Ultra certified sound effects, while retaining the 3.5mm headphone jack, and has designed three gaming microphones and linear motors.
In terms of software, Red Magic 5G runs the Red Magic OS Cyber Edition based on Android 10, which is more youthful and fashionable. It has specially adjusted for different types of games in terms of game performance, display and sound effects. “Ace Fighter”, “Crossing Fire”, “QQ Speeding Car” and “Breaking the Sky: Rekindling of Different Fires” have designed five free game-specific themes. In addition, the official said that there are currently dozens of commonly used apps that have adapted high frame rate modes.
Red Magic 5G also has a built-in TC algorithm (in-game frame rate compensation technology) to ensure that the game does not drop frames. At present, nearly 100 games such as “Break 3”, “QQ Speeder” and “Master of Rhythm” support the 144Hz mode, and are working with “Kart Run”, “Mobile City Alpha”, “Peak Tank”, “Peak Battleship” And other joint development of high frame rate mode.
