Black Shark 3 And 3 Pro Introduction
On the evening of March 3, Black Shark Technology held an online press conference and officially released it’s Tencent Black Shark 3 gaming mobile phone series which includes Black Shark 3 and 3 Pro. It is the world’s first 5G gaming phone.
This machine is the world’s first 5G gaming phone developed by Black Shark Technology in cooperation with Tencent Games and Xiaomi. It is deeply adapted to Tencent’s mobile games. It has adapted 90Hz for many popular games such as PUBG (Peace Elite), QQ Speed Car, and Ace Fighter.
In addition, in “Glory of the King”, Tencent also added a resurrection countdown floating window and refined light effect vibration for the Black Shark 3 and also achieved the industry’s first game voice control, supporting Tencent’s “Glory of the King”, “Peace Elite” and other popular games to set language instructions.
Design
In terms of appearance, the Black Shark 3 Series mobile phone still continues its own symmetrical design concept, upgraded Black Shark Eye 2.0, supports AI lighting effects, and retains a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The back of the black shark 3 series is not only left-right symmetrical, but also up-and-down symmetrical. The eye of the black shark at the top inherits three shots inside, and the eye of the black shark at the bottom is equipped with the Tencent + Black Shark logo and a magnetic charging interface.
Black Shark 3 Pro adds two lifting shoulder keys on this basis, which can be raised and lowered freely. According to the official, the two keys have a stroke of 1.5mm, a force of 160g, a life of 1 million times, and a lifting life of 300,000 times. Supports key self-locking to ensure ultra-high stability, consistent rebound force, and drop recovery, and automatic identification to protect it.
This 21 mm key can be adapted, and the feel of the different pressing positions is completely consistent. Both keys are independently controlled and can be used independently, claiming to achieve zero delay and zero accidental touch.
Black Shark 3 is available in Lightning Black, Armor Gray, Star Silver, and Bright Pink. Black Shark 3 Pro is available in Phantom Black and Armor Gray.
Hardware And Camera
In terms of configuration, the entire Black Shark gaming 3 series is equipped with the Snapdragon 865 mobile platform as standard. It has a built-in upto 12GB LPDDR5 memory and UFS 3.0 flash memory upto 256GB (supports TurboWrite + HPB technology, and the peak write speed is increased by 81%).
The camera sensor is exactly same in both in both version but some little more features added in Pro version. Both equipped with 20 megapixel’s front camera and rear 64-megapixel wide-angle + 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle + 5-megapixel depth-of-field three-shot.
Display
In terms of screens, the Black Shark 3 uses a 6.67-inch 1080p AMOLED screen, while the Black Shark 3 Pro uses a 7.1-inch 3120 × 1440 resolution screen, both of which have a refresh rate of 90Hz, and the touch sampling rate has reached the highest in the world. At 270Hz, the Black Shark 3 Pro’s screen also supports an additional 10bit color depth, which can display 1.07 billion colors.
The whole system supports screen pressure sensitivity 3.0, the number of sensors has been increased to 4, and the pressure sensitivity area has been increased by 48%.
In addition, the entire Black Shark 3 series supports MEMC motion compensation, which can turn a 25Hz game screen into a 90Hz display effect, making the screen smoother. Upgraded the independent display chip, JNCD <0.55, Dleta E is lower than 1, which are the highest level in the industry and are better than Xiaomi 10 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max.
Battery and Sound
In terms of batteries, the Black Shark 3 is equipped with a 4720mAh dual-strip battery, the Black Shark 3 Pro is a 5000mAh dual-strip battery, and a 65W fast charge head is standard. Both provide magnetic charging interface on the back, which can support 18W fast charging.
Tencent Black Shark 3 series comes standard with positive-sound symmetrical stereo speakers and a horizontal linear motor designed for game tuning.
Cooling System
In terms of heat dissipation, Black Shark created a sandwich liquid-cooled heat dissipation system for 5G games. The heat source is distributed and designed to increase the distance by 2 times. It claims to achieve full coverage of all heat sources, liquid cooling on the front and back, and is equipped with a liquid cooling tube with a total length of 186mm. Compared to the previous generation, the heat source has a 100% higher heat dissipation area and a 50% higher heat dissipation capacity.
Network
In terms of networks, Black Shark 3 supports NSA and SA dual-mode 5G, supports the full-band networks of the three major operators, and also supports Wi-Fi 6. In terms of game network optimization, through cooperation with Tencent, Black Shark has achieved a 5G + Wi-Fi dual-channel mode, and the delay under “Glory of the King” can be reduced by up to 75%.
OS
Black Shark 3 series runs the JOYUI 11 system based on Android 10. This system is modified on the basis of MIUI 11 and added special game-related functions.
