Oppo Smart Watch Official Rendering
This morning, Shen Yiren, Vice President of OPPO, exposed the rendering of first OPPO Smart Watch and stated that this smart watch uses a flexible screen and curved design.
The rendering shows that the OPPO smart watch has a rounded rectangular design, and the right side of the gold case is equipped with two buttons.
At first glance, it looks like an Apple Watch. It must be said that the rounded rectangular design of the Apple Watch is too classic: it keeps the rectangular screen to read text, and at the same time maintains a rounded body. This design is really a success that has been repeatedly verified. The two keys and the curved screen have a unified design. I don’t know how thick it is.
There is no crown, and it is unknown whether operations such as scrolling the screen can be implemented in other ways. For example, Samsung does this by sliding a circle around the screen.
Looking at this picture, I feel that the strap is fixed. But the smart watch must be able to change the strap, so I don’t know how this part is designed.
First OPPO smartwatch 2020 is expected to be released together with OPPO Find X2, and there is no more information yet.
In October 2019, Shen Yiren revealed the news of the new OPPO smart watch. Shen Yiren also previously stated that, as a smart watch, although the circle looks good in accordance with the traditional aesthetics, the use efficiency (information presentation) of the screen is indeed lower than the rectangular dial.
