Official information shows that there is also a Sony R&D center in Beijing, China, which is Sony’s fifth R&D (Research and Development). This technology center is responsible for the development of Sony’s top technology for a longer period of time.
It is understood that at the end of last month, Sony officially released the second quarter earnings report for the 2019 fiscal year ending September 30. The financial report showed that Sony’s second-quarter consolidated revenue was 2.1223 trillion yen (about 19.052 billion US dollars), down 3% from 2.1828 trillion yen in the same period of last year; net profit attributable to Sony shareholders was 187.9 billion days. Yuan (about 1.727 billion US dollars), up 9% from the 173 billion yen in the same period last year.
