ARM claims that the Mali-G57’s “performance density” is 1.3 times higher than its previous mid-range graphics chip, the Mali-G52 GPU. Compared to earlier GPUs, its energy efficiency has also increased by 1.3 times. Supports centralized rendering in VR with up to 60% machine learning performance.

In addition, ARM also said that the “texture performance” of the Mali-G57 is twice that of the previous generation GPU. ARM added that the new GPU is also capable of handling HDR graphics, physics-based rendering and volume effects. In other words, its game performance is excellent.

ARM also released two new NPUs, the mid-range Ethos-N57 and the low-end Ethos-N37. Arm claims a performance increase of more than 200% compared to “many other NPUs”, although this may depend on the specific workload and other factors. Finally, ARM also released the Mali-D37 DPU, which brings high-end features to mid-range products. Based on the “Komeda” architecture first introduced in the Mali-D71, the new DPU targets 2K and FHD resolutions and promises only on 16nm, Occupied <1mm2.
