Huawei EMUI 10 Features: Introduction
On the afternoon of August 9, Huawei held the HDC2019 Huawei Developer Conference, and Yu Chengdong, president of Huawei’s consumer business, officially released the Hongmeng operating system. Subsequently, Wang Chenglu, president of Huawei’s consumer BG software division, officially released Huawei EMUI 10 Features.
EMUI 10 is divided into four parts, namely, the new UX design, the full scene experience, the new standard, and the eco-win.

UX
In terms of UX design, a new colorful AOD screen display, as well as a new magazine lock screen and dark mode.

According to Wang Chenglu, the most important thing about EMUI 10 is the ultimate experience of the whole scene, including hardware capability mutual assistance sharing, one-time development multi-end deployment, and distributed security three key distributed technologies, so that users/applications/developers are on the same terminal.
Hardware Compatibility – Mutual Sharing
The hardware capability mutual aid sharing virtualizes the hardware capabilities (display, camera, microphone, and speaker) of different terminals, and puts them into the hardware capability resource pool to supply and use. The capabilities of each terminal are mutually shared and shared with each other.
For the application, it is like running on the same terminal; for the user, it is like using the same terminal. That is to say, if you have a phone or video on your mobile phone and use distributed capability to talk, users can use the phone, speaker or smart screen to talk, the speaker can make the sound bigger, and the smart screen is to enlarge the video picture.
Security
Distributed security, build a distributed full-scenario security system to ensure that the right people, on the right equipment, use the right information.
EMUI 10 also supports multi-screen collaboration. All peripherals of mobile phones and PCs can be used interchangeably. The peripherals such as mouse/keyboard can be used to control mobile phones. Mobile phones and PC applications support seamless collaboration, but third-party applications are required. Currently, nails are supported. Nail, WPS, WeChat, QQ, native support libraries, file managers, mail, memos, recorders and other applications, thereby improving office efficiency, and transmitting data end-to-end encryption.
In addition, Wang Chenglu also introduced Huawei HUAWEI HiCar, which can be linked to the car, mobile phone and watch. You can enjoy the application (such as music, navigation, etc.) in the mobile phone on the screen of the car, and you can view the car in real time on the mobile phone. State, or turn on the car air conditioner in advance. Moreover, it can be calculated whether the driver is fatigued or not, and the personal data is not left in the car. It has already supported 30+ depots and more than 120 models.
Finally, the system also features GPU Turbo, Link Turbo, Super File System (EROFS), and Ark Compiler.

Officials said that Huawei’s EMUI has been developed to date, with more than 500 million daily users serving 216 countries and regions. The next-generation Mate series will be equipped with EMUI 10 for the first launch. On September 8th, the P30 series will launch the Beta upgrade of EMUI 10.
