Samsung Exynos 9825 Specifications – Official Announcement
We are less than a day away from the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 conference. Today Samsung officially released Exynos 9825. Main specification is The SoC uses Samsung’s 7nm EUV process to increase transistor performance by 20-30% while reducing power consumption by 30-50%.
Exynos 9825 retains a three-cluster CPU architecture
Let’s take a look at the processor configuration. The Exynos 9825 is powered by Samsung’s two custom cores, two Cortex-A75 cores, and four Cortex-A55 cores to maintain energy efficiency. Samsung has not yet announced the clock speed of the three-cluster CPU configuration, which is expected to be announced at the press conference. In addition, the GPU is the Mali-G76, which is the same as the GPU of the Exynos 9820.
Samsung claims that the Mali-G76 and Cortex-A75 have faster clock speeds. Which makes the Exynos 9825 faster than the Exynos 9820 in “internal testing.”
NPU (Neural Processing Unit)
The Samsung Exynos 9825 also integrates with the NPU. Which is designed to enhance artificial intelligence photography and the use of augmented reality applications. The NPU will be responsible for object recognition and selecting the ideal scene, with the help of an Image Signal Processor (ISP). Allowing the user to experience good color balance and better imaging results.
The NPU will also intelligently identify the usage patterns of smartphone users and support faster application preloading.
Mobile connection
The Exynos 9825 integrates a 4G LTE Advanced Pro modem with 8x carrier aggregation, which provides up to Cat. 20 LTE download speeds, up to 2Gbps, and up to 316Mbps upload speed. The Exynos 9825 is also ready for the 5G era when paired with the Exynos Modem 5100, which features support for 5G NR, giving the next generation connectivity.

Video format and resolution support
Samsung said its latest Exynos 9825 multi-format codec (MFC) supports up to 8K video encoding (30FPS), 4K encoding (150FPS) and 10-bit HEVC (H.265) codecs.
The Exynos 9825 can support 4K Ultra HD resolution of 4096 x 2160 pixels and WQUXGA resolution of 3840 x 2400 pixels. Exynos 9825 also supports UFS 3.0 storage.
