MediaTek i700
According to the official news of MediaTek, MediaTek today announced i700 with high-speed edge AI computing capability for fast image recognition. Its single-chip design integrates processing units including CPU, GPU, ISP, and AI core.
According to reports, the i700 platform adopts an eight-core architecture, integrating two ARM Cortex-A75 processors operating at 2.2GHz and six Cortex-A55 processors operating at 2.0GHz, and IMG 9XM operating at 970MHz. -HP8 graphics processor. In addition, the i700 platform is equipped with MediaTek’s CorePilot technology, ensuring that the eight cores can optimally configure computing resources in the most efficient manner, delivering the highest performance while achieving the lowest power consumption.

MediaTek said that the i700 platform continues the powerful AI engine capability, not only built-in dual-core AI core, but also AI Accelerator, and equipped with AI face detection engine to make its AI power Up to 5 times better than the iMoT platform i500. It also supports MediaTek’s NeuroPilot SDK, which is fully compatible with Google’s Android Neural Networks API (Android NNAPI), providing complete development tools that enable solution providers and device manufacturers to take advantage of industry-standard frameworks such as TensorFlow, TF Lite, Caffe and Caffe2.
For camera support, the MediaTek i700 can support a superb 32-megapixel camera or a dual-camera combination of 24 megapixels and 16 megapixels. Customers can achieve 32 megapixel resolution and up to 30 frames per second (FPS). To achieve accurate and zero-latency identification tasks, you can also use the 120FPS Ultra HD slow motion to identify fast moving objects.
At the same time, the MediaTek i700 platform also supports 2×2 802.11ac Wi-Fi and low-power Bluetooth 5.0 technology in network connection, and built-in mobile network baseband supporting up to Cat.12 through 4×4 MIMO and triple-carrier aggregation technology.
The MediaTek i700 can also provide technical support for the identification and face payment of unmanned stores, as well as face access for smart buildings and company attendance systems.
The MediaTek i700 platform solution will begin to be available in 2020.
