Android Q Beta Supported Devices
On May 8th, at the I/O conference earlier today, Google launched the third beta version of Android Q, adding dark themes, support for folding devices, full-screen gestures, and Live Caption.
After introducing the new system, Google gave the first batch of upgraded vendors of Android Q for the first time. A total of 13 mobile phone manufacturers can upgrade their models. At least 21 mobile phones can be upgraded to Android Q (beta version).
Specifically, these 21 mobile phones are: ASUS Zenfone 5z, Essential mobile phone, Huawei Mate 20 Pro, LG G8 ThinQ, Nokia 8.1, one plus 6T (including one plus 6), OPPO Reno, Realme 3 Pro, Sony Xperia XZ3 Tecno Spark 3 Pro, vivo X27, vivo NEX S, vivo NEX A, Xiaomi 9, Xiaomi MIX 3 5G, and all Pixel phones.
It is reported that this is the Android beta version that Google has supported the most models in history. The Huawei mobile phones that were not on the list have also appeared in this upgradeable model.

About Android Q, it adapts to the shape of the foldable device, adapts to different screen sizes, and cancels the navigation bar, supports full-screen gestures, adds dark themes and Live Caption.
The dark theme is for nighttime use, but for OLED screen devices, using dark themes can display some pages as black, which will save more power.
As for Live Caption, this is a new machine-driven feature that provides real-time subtitles for audio. Google says the Live Caption feature is suitable for any media that plays audio, including video, podcasts, audio messages, and mobile phones. As soon as voice is detected, the subtitles appear automatically and no network connection is required.
At the same time, the scope of Android Q testing has further increased, Xiaomi’s Xiaomi 9 and Xiaomi MIX3 have been included in the Android Q experience program.
Among them, Xiaomi MIX 3 5G version is the first 5G mobile phone that supports Android Q Beta.
According to Google’s official introduction, Android Q has great improvements in privacy and notification management, and also has a dark mode of MIUI.
