Huawei 2018 Consumer BG Report
Huawei announced the “2018 Huawei Consumer BG transcript”, including Huawei’s 2018 smartphone, service, cloud ecosystem, brand, revenue and so on.
Among them, the smart phone business performed best. In 2018, Huawei’s smartphone shipments exceeded 200 million units (including honor). Among them, the Huawei Mate 20 series sold more than 5 million units in two months, targeting young consumers. The cumulative sales of Huawei’s nova series exceeded 65 million units, and the global shipments of Huawei Mate and P series reached nearly 30 million units.
Huawei has more than 60,000 retail channels worldwide, including special zones, counters, 4,000 experience stores, and 2,000 offline service centers.
In 2018, Huawei’s consumer business revenue grew by nearly 50% year-on-year, surpassing the target by more than $50 billion a year.
Huawei Mate 20 series and P20 series have won 23 international technology media annual awards and 16 authoritative industry organizations’ annual awards.
In the “Best Global Brands List of 2018” released by Interbrand, Huawei ranked 68th. In Forbes’ 20th World Top 100 Brand Value List, Huawei ranked 79th, the only Chinese brand on the list.
