Advances in technology have made the internal design of mobile phones more complicated. Recalling the internal structure of the mobile phone 6 or 7 years ago, and the internal structure of the mobile phone, it is a subterranean sky. The vivo NEX, which was demolished some time ago, is the most difficult mobile phone have dismantled before this year. Today, this throne will change hands and belong to the vivo NEX dual-screen version. Now, let’s take a look at the double-screen version of the vivo NEX dual-screen version, which will hinder my disassembly!

Let’s first look at the front and back photos of a wave of mobile phones. Vivo NEX dual-screen version uses a unique dual-screen design, each with a screen on the front and back, the front screen is 6.39 inches, 2340 x 1080 resolution, the screen ratio is as high as 91.63%. The second-generation zero-screen full-screen design makes the visual impact of the NEX dual-screen version even more shocking.

As for the secondary screen placed on the back, it is 5.49 inches, 1920 x 1080 resolution. This screen can be used as a normal display and use screen, and can also be used when taking photos and games. In addition, the three camera modules above the secondary screen and the star ring soft light occupy a certain amount of space. It is also because of the design of two screen + super multi-camera, it can be expected that the double-screen version of vivo NEX is definitely not easy to dismantle.

From left to right, they are: Phillips screwdriver, six-star screwdriver, crowbar, brooch, thin disassemble, disassemble, card, suction cup, anti-static bracelet and hair dryer. Before starting dismantling, it is risky to disassemble the machine. If you are not comfortable with your own technology, the mobile phone has a problem suggestion or let the official repair directly.

The first step: disassemble the back cover (sub-screen)

This step is mainly to disassemble the back cover, and because there is a sub-screen on the back cover, so… you said that it is not impossible to disassemble the sub-screen…

Shut down the phone as usual before disassembling, then use the card holder attached to the phone to remove the card tray located under the phone. It should be noted that do not use other tools to insert the card hole to prevent the card hole from being damaged and the card tray cannot be removed.

Vivo Nex Dual Screen Disassembling

The Vivo NEX dual-screen version has two six-star screws on both sides of the charging port. Use a six-star screwdriver to remove the two screws.

After removing the screws, use the disassembling piece to insert into the gap between the main screen and the middle frame from the corners of the main screen and the SIM card holder. After inserting into the gap, slide it slightly and push the middle frame (back cover) a little.

After opening the back cover a little, insert the disassembled piece a little more and slide it toward the upper side and the other side of the bottom (as in the direction of the arrow).

After a few snaps are opened, the back cover and the main screen complete the first step of separation, and the back cover and the main screen can be slightly opened at 90°. However, at this time, the opening and closing angle of the back cover cannot be too large or lifted too high, because the rear cover and the main screen also have a cable connection, which is too high to easily break the cable.

In addition, the disassembly platform must be clean and free of foreign objects and particles. In addition, the strength of the disassembly should not be too large, otherwise the back cover and the phone body may be deformed, and even the screen may be broken. Do not scratch the side button switch and the position of the card holder. The former is easy to scratch and the latter is easily deformed.

Turn the back cover upside down and start working on the cable. First use the Phillips screw to remove the screws as shown and place them in order.

Then push the bracket in the direction of the arrow.

Next, use the crowbar to lift and disconnect the cable battery cable, button cable, sub-screen cable, and flash cable identified in the figure. Other cables do not need to be disconnected temporarily. Note that the battery cable needs to be disconnected preferentially.

After disconnecting all the wires, the back cover and the main screen can be completely separated.

Step 2: Disassemble the battery

Vivo Nex Dual Screen Disassembling

The Vivo NEX dual-screen version of the battery is still using the quick-release design of vivo, which can disassemble the battery more quickly. There are several main steps in disassembling the battery. First, pull up the F-layer film and press the film to the other side to be completely separated from the battery.

Then use one hand to hold down the F-layer film and the body, and the other hand lifts the handle slightly with an angle of 30°-45°. Pull up the battery slowly after lifting the handle, taking care not to overspeed.

Another point is that disassembling the battery is risky and must be slow to do it yourself. Remember not to use a sharp and metal tool to rub the battery. If there are conditions, it is best to go to the official after-sales replacement.

The third step: dismantling the motherboard

Vivo Nex Dual Screen Disassembling

Because of the structure, the vivo NEX dual-screen version of the motherboard also uses a few screws to fix. To disassemble the motherboard, you need to use a Phillips screwdriver to remove all the screws identified in the figure.

Then use the crowbar to lift and disconnect the tail plug cable and the main display cable.

Vivo Nex Dual Screen Disassembling

The two coaxial lines next to it also need to be disconnected.

Vivo Nex Dual Screen Disassembling

The number of cameras and related sensors of the vivo NEX dual-screen version is numerous. To remove the motherboard, you need to process the camera cable first. First pick up the protective bracket on the camera cable.

The same is true for the bracket on the headphone jack.

The workmanship and design of this motherboard is the cleanest and most comfortable motherboard I have ever seen.

Step 4: Disassemble the camera

These cameras are from left to right:

2 megapixel night vision camera, aperture F / 1.8, single pixel area 2.9μm, mainly involved in imaging in the case of dark light;

12 megapixel main camera, using IMX363 sensor, aperture F/1.79, single pixel area 1.4μm, support full pixel dual-core focus and OIS four-axis optical image stabilization;

The TOF 3D stereo camera module is more than just a camera, but also a sensor for receiving optical signals.

Step 5: Disassemble the headphone jack, motor module and handset

Use the tip of the crowbar to lift the headphone jack and remove the headphone jack.

Then use the tamper to pick up the slab from the reinforced small plate below the FPC cable.

Then use the tip of the crowbar to lift the earpiece and slowly remove the earpiece to the right. Be careful not to pull hard. The FPC cable here is fragile, and pulling it hard may break the cable.

Use the tip of the mast to lift the vibration motor and slowly remove it. This place can’t be pulled hard.

Step 6: Disassemble the tail plug

Then carefully remove the protective baffle from the tail cable.

Next, use the crowbar to pick up and separate the display jack in the lower right corner.

Step 7: Disassemble the screen fingerprint module

Vivo Nex Dual Screen Disassembling

At the screen fingerprint IC, there is a small removal port. Using the tip of the pry bar, the screen fingerprint IC is picked up from this detachment port.

Vivo Nex Dual Screen Disassembling

At the screen fingerprint Holder, there is also a similar removal port. Using the tip of the crowbar, pick up the screen fingerprint Holder from the detachment and remove the entire screen fingerprint module.

Step 8: Disassemble the dual screen

Vivo NEX dual-screen version has two screens, the difficulty of disassembly is straight up, the probability of damage will be much higher than the average mobile phone. Therefore, if necessary, it is recommended to go to the official after-sales service to find a professional to dismantle.

Vivo Nex Dual Screen Disassembling

First we disassemble the main screen and use a hair dryer to heat the display for 5-8 minutes. Note that it is necessary to heat around, not to concentrate on the same position to heat, otherwise it is easy to be unevenly heated and the screen is broken.

Vivo Nex Dual Screen Disassembling

After heating for a certain period of time, use the suction cup to try to suck up the screen.

Vivo Nex Dual Screen Disassembling

If you can suck it up, separate the entire screen.

Vivo Nex Dual Screen Disassembling

The same is true for the disassembly of the secondary screen, using a hair dryer to heat the display for 5-8 minutes. This time, we need to heat the upper and lower parts slightly.

Vivo Nex Dual Screen Disassembling

Then use the suction cup to try to suck up the screen.

Vivo Nex Dual Screen Disassembling

Note that there is a lot of glue near the star ring soft light, so you need to pay attention when disassembling, don’t use too much force.

Disassembly summary

Vivo Nex Dual Screen Disassembling

It can be said that the vivo NEX dual-screen version is one of the most difficult mobile phones. The unique dual-screen and star-ring soft light design makes it have more cables inside. Moreover, the internal structure of the NEX dual-screen version is more complicated than that of an ordinary mobile phone, and the difficulty of disassembling the two screens is much higher than that of a single screen. So not a professional, don’t disassemble this phone. On the one hand, dismantling may result in loss of warranty service; on the other hand, improper disassembly may damage the phone. Therefore, if necessary, it is recommended to go to the official after-sales service to find a professional to dismantle. In particular, if you need to replace the screen or battery, you can find it directly after the sale and save trouble.
