HTC officially announced the unaudited performance report for November this year on the 6th, it can be said that there is not much surprise.
Throughout November, HTC’s revenue totaled NT$1.47 billion (US$47.67 million) – an increase of 12.75% from US$42.63 million in October, which is a positive sign. But perhaps more conspicuously, this figure has fallen by 73.98% year-on-year. This is also the third consecutive month of HTC’s monthly revenue decline of more than 70%.
The data also shows that from this year to November 30, HTC recorded a total revenue of only NT$22.39 billion (US$725.5 million), a decrease of 61.47% from last year. In the same period last year, this figure was 1.88 billion US dollars; before the end of 2017, HTC’s 2017 revenue has exceeded 2 billion US dollars.
According to reports from the Taiwanese media “Electronic Times” a few days ago, Taiwan announced the most valuable global brand list in Taiwan in 2018. HTC ranked only 14th and missed the top ten.
